Lauren Conrad Used the “Christina” Dress at MTV Awards

Lauren Conrad is proving she is her own best model, the reality star designer shows off one of her own creations – the “Christina” dress, which is part of her Fall ‘08 collection – at the MTV Movie Awards.

Kristin Cavallari made an apperance at Lauren Conrad’s runway fashion debut at the 2008 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Los Angeles, California last night. The two were famous for feuding on Laguna Beach over their boy toy Stephen C. Both girls dated him at home time and had a wedge between them ever since. But it looks like things are all patched up.

Although Lauren Conrad full line doesn't hit stores until early February, the Hills star recently unveiled a 10-piece capsule collection that features versatile layering separates and billowy minidresses that can be worn over skinny jeans or leggings.

Pieces range from $45 to $150 and are sold exclusively at shoplaurenconrad.com. "It was great to be able to pick out fabrics and sketch out the designs," she tells mystyle. "It's such a cool feeling to know that people are actually buying my clothes now."Living up to her sweetheart image, Lauren named each garment for a friend or family member. "I tried to name the pieces after who they reminded me of," says the fashion designer, whose collection, according to the online store descriptions, includes the "sexy and beautiful" Audrina dress, above left, and the "classic" Lo dress, above right. (Something tells us the adjectives accompanying a Heidi dress would've been less than kind.)

The Katherine wrap, above center, was named after Lauren's mom. "She loves it," reports the reality TV star. "She kept trying to get one from me, but they just went into production and I hadn't gotten one yet." And when her mother tried to purchase her namesake piece online, she learned it was sold out. "She called me complaining about it and I was like, Mom, that's a good thing!"

Lauren Conrad is Off to Grove Cove

Lauren Conrad and current BFF Stephanie Pratt head to The Grove for some coffee and shopping in Los Angeles on Friday.

Apparently there’s some tension on The Hills with Audrina and Lauren no longer on speaking terms! Audrina reportedly hasn’t been staying in Lauren’s guest house recently. “She hasn’t officially moved out yet, but she stays with different people. It’s grown so bad between them she doesn’t want to be there.” an insider told Pagesix. “If your star starts to burn brighter than Lauren’s, there’s going to be trouble.”

Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag Meet Again

Remember how Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag had it out last season in a public screaming match at Les Deux? Well, the producers of The Hills were still trying to squeeze more drama out of the former BFFs' sitch Thursday night, but things didn't go down according to plan.

I spotted Lauren, Audrina, Whitney and Lo shooting scenes upstairs at Goa for the new Hills episodes. They were at a table with a random group of guys. Audrina was taking pictures of the girls on her phone, while Lauren was sipping a cocktail and wearing a headband. It was fascinating stuff.
But later, Heidi somehow managed to break free from Spencer Pratt's clutches for the night and just so happened to hit the same place.

Producers made sure she was seated right next to Lauren's table, all but ensuring that the two former friends would get into it on camera.

But apparently, Lauren wasn't in the mood for another confrontation. "She wasn't having it, so she left the section and went downstairs to dance," says one onlooker.

Cut! Listen, Lauren, it's nice that you're trying to keep the peace and all, but we only watch your show for the drama. So, come on, give the people what they want, 'kay?

Lauren Conrad: Don’t Be Cheesy

“Hills” hottie Lauren Conrad was caught chilling outside the Urth Caffe yesterday afternoon as she chatted with a friend. She was wearing an interesting ensemble, composed of a shade-printed v-neckline dress overtop black tights, and smiling as usual.
And according to a recent interview, this girl isn’t looking to settle down anytime soon. At the season finale party for “The Hills” last week, she revealed that she’d rather play the field than get serious.LC told press, “I’m not really searching for anyone. I’m just going out and having fun. I’m not dating anyone.”
Conrad also confessed that cheesy lines are not the way to her heart. “I want one that comes up and approaches you but in a non-cheesy way.”
