Actress Natalie Portman has dropped out the big-screen adaptation of Wuthering Heights over conflicts in her busy schedule.The Hollywood star was set to play the film’s lead role, Cathy Earnshaw, in John Maybury’s take on the classic Emily Bronte novel, but had to quit the project for an unknown movie project.Portman was slated to appear opposite German actor Michael Fassbender, who will play the iconic Heathcliff in the film.Movie bosses at Ecosse Films are said to be determined to shoot the movie on schedule and are currently searching for a replacement for Portman.
